The Atlantic Rowing Race 2005 will start from San Sebastian, La Gomera on 27th November 2005 and
will follow a similar route to that taken by Christopher Columbus, finishing 2,935 miles away at Nelsons
Dockyard, Antigua.

This ultimate physical challenge has been organised by Woodvale Events in association with the Ocean Rowing Society every two years since 1997.

The race consists of three classes, with each race limited to a maximum of thirty team entries. Teams will compete against each other on equal terms, within their appropriate class, in 23 foot length ocean rowing boats designed specifically for this event and known as Woodvale Pairs & Woodvale Fours.
